"I thought I knew what Space Clearing was, but now I realize I had NO IDEA.”

Having read the book, attended the workshops and had five days of training by this point, they are in a position to glimpse the depth of what really goes on during the ceremony.

You may suppose this comment was made by someone who had just read my book, Creating Sacred Space with Feng Shui, but no.

Or by someone who had just attended my Space Clearing workshop. Again, no.

It is a typical comment made by trainees half way through my 10-day Space Clearing Practitioner Training, after witnessing me do a space clearing live in someone’s home for the first time.

The book, the workshops and the basic training are actually only the tip of the iceberg of this unique field of expertise. When I first began teaching space clearing publicly, I knew enough to talk on the subject for an hour. Now, after nearly 30 years of intensive study and development, I could lead space clearing intensives that would last for months if I had students with the means and stamina to participate in them.

Every passing year brings many advances in space clearing arts, and there is no sign of this stopping or even slowing down. The fascinating thing is that from the outside, the space clearing ceremony looks pretty much the same to an uninformed onlooker as it always did. The ceremony itself has hardly changed over the years, but the knowledge, skills and level of consciousness with which it is performed at practitioner level are now a world away from the basics described in my book.

Here are some comments made by participants who recently attended an intermediate level practitioner training I taught in Bali:

Anyone can get a certain level of result in their own home from simply following the Space Clearing instructions in my book. It was designed to help people do that, and the fact that it is an international bestseller and an acknowledged classic in its field, attests to the effectiveness of the knowledge contained in it. It was time for this information to go out into the world, it is needed, and it works.

And for those who wish to go deeper, there is so much more. The book teaches the fundamental principles of clearing energetic debris from buildings; my workshops bring this to vividly life for people so they can do it much more confidently and effectively; and a professional space clearing consultation can bring about such profound, life-transforming clarity that many clients date everything from that time on as 'pre-space clearing ceremony' or 'post-Space Clearing ceremony'. The effect can be that dramatic, and often is.

So the question, 'What is space clearing?' has many levels of answers, depending on the perception of the person asking.

There will always be those who dismiss it as nothing more than clapping in corners and ringing bells.

There are those who may never fully understand it but are awed by the beauty, power and effectiveness of the ceremony.

And for the people whom I train to the most advanced levels of this art, space clearing is an exciting arena for spiritual development, where each practitioner is called upon to maintain themselves at high level and constantly 'walk their talk'. I have no time for shallow schools where you pay your money, get your certificate, hang it on the wall, and that's that. A space clearing practitioner is only as good as the last ceremony they performed, and that's what determines whether they stay registered or not. This guarantees the high standard of Space Clearing is maintained from year to year, and provides a superb environment in which to continue to pioneer new aspects of the work and take it to new levels of excellence.
